What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Foreman position at Tronson Construction?
Looking for Concrete Foreman to run day to day concrete activities: overseeing work at job site, layout, as well as coordinating employees to jobsite needs. This position requires hands-on field supervision while working closely with project managers, engineers and inspectors as well as maintaining strict adherence to safety and company standards. Pay will depend on experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, including managing crews, providing field training, and directing activities to meet project goals.
- ·Monitor productivity, schedules and quality control.
- Oversee setup and preparation of concrete forms according to plans and project specifications.
- Form, pour, and finish concrete for commercial and residential construction projects including flatwork and foundations.
- Enforce job site safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment for all employees
Requirements:
- Must be over 25 years old with a valid driver's license and experience pulling trailers. CDL license preferred but not required.
- Three years concrete experience.
- Proven experience in commercial/industrial concrete construction.
- Familiarity with Symons forms.
- Ability to read, understand and interpret plans, drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and management skills.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to read and communicate with team member, English and Spanish preferred but not required.
- Heavy equipment operator is a plus
