DIRECT LOAN PROCESSORApplications Due by December 2, 2025POSITION SUMMARYUnder general supervision, builds and maintains successful member relationships by funding and servicing loans to the member's complete satisfaction, while simultaneously ensuring that supporting documentation and records are accurately prepared according to the credit union's policies. Meets or exceed all funding goals with minimum errors and processes pending loans in a timely, consistent manner.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIESProvides an excellent member experience by relating well to the member, proactively promoting services that benefit the member, thinking and exercising sound judgment, and acting responsibly in the member's and the Credit Union's best interest.Gathers and organizes required supporting documents for loan closings. Verifies and examines documents for accuracy and completeness.Files loan documents with appropriate agencies.Identifies opportunities to cross-sell new or additional services or products to members.Processes approved loans and sets up date and time to close the loan, disburse funds, and promotes other services available.Answers member phone calls.Identifies and implements changes to improve the group's operating methods and procedures.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTSComplete, organize and close loan documentation and files within 24 hours after approval.Produce loan documents with no unresolved errors according to established department standards.Provides informed, prompt, professional and accurate service and support to all members and associates by responding to emails, answering telephone calls, and replying to messages.Develop, maintain, and demonstrate a working knowledge of credit union loan standards, policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal government rules and regulations.Trouble shoot and resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely and accurate manner. 6. Ensure compliance with all applicable Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulations.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE ExperienceSix months to two years of similar or related experience.Education A high school education or GED.Required Interpersonal SkillsCourtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Ability to excel in a high stress environment and meet goals and deadlines.
