Trombold Equipment Company, Inc. is looking for a water / wastewater Service Technician in the Western Pennsylvania area to provide training and service to client regarding wastewater, water, fire pump, and telemetry systems.
This position is entry level with paid training and room for growth in the company.
Essential Job Functions
- Trains the company's clients on the operation and maintenance of wastewater pump systems, fire pump systems, water booster systems and telemetry systems ("the company's systems")
- Responds to onsite requests for service repairs from clients regarding the company's systems
- Assists by phone with scheduling and customer service inquiries regarding billing, service, installation and operation of the company's systems
- Picks up and delivers the company's equipment from clients and brings them back to the warehouse for service when the equipment cannot be repaired on site
- Delivers equipment
- Loads and unloads trucks inventory at Tepco locations
- Provides assistance in shipping and receiving with packing inventory, electronic pick-up requests, distribution or warehousing of incoming stock
- Cleans and maintains the service department, loading dock and sidewalks by mopping, brooming, etc.
- Performs service training for contractors and municipalities
- Assists sales staff with understanding start-up and service issues
- Assists front office staff with customer service-related product and service knowledge
- This position requires rotating on call schedule
- Regularly drives to client locations to provide service and repairs on the company's systems
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Forklift operation, will train
- Manual dexterity and coordination in the use of hand tools
- Field troubleshooting, replacement and repairs
Requirements
- Electrical and mechanical aptitude
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to travel up to 75% of the time in local area / territory
- Divers license in good standing
- Good attitude at work, good work ethic with a willingness to learn
- Willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed
- Must be able to work independently and possess a problem-solving mentality
- Capable of lifting and/or move up to 125
- Able to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl

Hours: 7:00am-4:00pm, hour lunch break 12pm-1pm

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
