Props Director: Trollwood Performing Arts School
Collaborate with professionals from across the nation at Trollwood Performing Arts School, a unique youth arts organization producing a high-quality musical in the outdoor amphitheater at Bluestem Center for the Arts in Moorhead, MN. Seeking Props Director for Disney’s FROZEN, directed by Broadway veteran, Becky Gulsvig. Props Director will assist in executing scenic design by Jack Mehler, NYC-based national stage and lighting designer.
The Props Director will collaborate with nationally recognized Scenic Designer, Jack Mehler to plan, design, create, and source props that support the production’s visual world. Provide rehearsal props as needed, assist with set dressing, and establish backstage and overnight storage plans to keep props organized and secure.
Preferred Qualifications: Degree in technical theatre or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 2 years-experience in props design and management. Satisfactory portfolio of work displaying proficiency, high quality, and attention to detail, along with a wide range of technique and experience in props creation.
Contract: On-site, full time from June 3 to July 21, 2026. Not affiliated with any unions.
Salary: $7,896 ($1,128 per week); travel stipend, housing provided.
