The Regional Account Manager is responsible for driving aftermarket parts, service, and upgrade sales within an assigned territory by executing strategic account and territory plans. This role requires strong ownership of the sales process, including managing customer requests, preparing quotes, and maintaining a high-quality funnel using CRM tools. The successful candidate will build trust-based relationships with municipal customers, channel partners, and internal teams, while identifying growth opportunities and delivering consistent results. The candidate must reside within the assigned territory (AL, NC, GA, SC, FL) and be able to travel extensively. This role requires a disciplined, collaborative, and customer-focused approach in a complex, technical sales environment.

This Regional Account Manager role will cover Alabama, North Carolina, Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop yearly sales territory, account plans and customer engagement to achieve assigned targets.
  • Prepare and present a monthly funnel review using the CRM to demonstrate the quality of the funnel, activity plans, and command of the account base.
  • Respond to customer requests, perform parts searches, create quotes, and take ownership of the sales process.
  • Collect and report information on all competitive activity, business opportunities, sales trends, and results within the assigned market, providing input during the monthly business/funnel review.
  • Participate in sales activities including customer site visits, telephone contacts, trade seminars and shows, customer seminars, and channel partner management.


Are you qualified? The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree or Technical diploma in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, technical, or business discipline) or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of B2B sales experience managing an outside sales territory and selling complex products and solutions.
  • Able to travel 50% of the time in the assigned territory (AL, NC, GA, SC, FL).
  • Demonstrated stability and commitment in previous roles, with a track record of sustained performance and ownership.
  • Ability to effectively use CRM systems as a primary tool to manage territory, pipeline, and customer interactions.
  • Solid computational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook), CRM systems, and smartphone/mobile tools for daily sales activities.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with customers, channel partners and internal stakeholders.


It would be a plus if you also have previous experience in:

  • Knowledge of water treatment.
  • Aftermarket Parts and service experience.
  • B2G experience selling complex products and solutions to municipalities.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $90000 - $110000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Commission Pay.
