The Company
TRM Innovative Hearth Products is the buyout of several companies that have been merged throughout the years including but not limited to Fireplace Manufacturers Inc., (FMI), and Lennox Industries Hearth Division. The aggregate company included rollups of Marco; Superior Fireplace, which began in the 1930s; stove and insert companies including Country Stoves, established in 1977. FMI, a subsidiary of Desa, rolled up Design Dynamics in vented and vent-free logs in the early 2003 timeframe. Subsequently, the management team from the FMI segment of Desa acquired the assets of their division in 2008. On January of 2023 TRM Equity groups completely purchased IHP and created TRM Innovative Hearth Products.

Job Description:
The Production Manager is responsible to safely and efficiently manage all Company resources on second shift, primarily production, warehouse, distribution and related human capital. Assure smooth and consistent operation between shifts to achieve company goals and customer satisfaction. Utilizing Lean concepts, the Production Manager is responsible to manage all Company resources that supports the SQCDP model. The RV Production Manager will exhibit behavior that supports IHP values.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures compliance with all company environmental, health, safety programs and policies.
- Develops and reports Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to track safety, quality, production, delivery, attendance, and turnover.
- Develops and implements 5S standards in their area.
- Supports the identification of new and existing employees through the full employment cycle; selection, on-boarding, training, and development of team members.
- Ensures a safe, equitable and respectful environment for all team members.
- Sets clear expectations, provides clear feedback, coaches and disciplines team members according to established procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and / or relevant work history in manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution leadership roles with clear cadence of advancement.
- Problem solving / analytical skills that takes a data driven approach to problem solving.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft applications.
- Demonstrated ability to use appropriate discretion and judgment.
- Ability to work in a fast paced setting.
- Six Sigma Green belt
- Prior experience in lean manufacturing.
