The Fire TI Technician is responsible for the on-site installation of fire and life safety systems in commercial tenant improvement projects. This role works closely with Fire TI leadership and project teams to support the successful execution of installations from start to finish.
As a key member of the field team, the Fire TI Technician performs hands-on installation work including device installation, wiring, and basic construction tasks to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and industry standards. The ideal candidate demonstrates a working knowledge of electrical regulations, construction practices, and fire life safety system components.

Job Responsibilities
- Coordinates with the Lead/Foreman of the project to ensure the successful installation of project components.
- Understands how to read and interpret drawings for project installation.
- Performs good housekeeping while on a project site, keeping work area clean and organized.
- Operates and understand the use of all tools and equipment needed for the project.
- Adheres to all workplace safety expectations, regulations, standards and practices.
- Displays an understanding of and the functionality of the Fire Life Safety systems installed.
- 0-2 years in construction and/or low voltage installation
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Valid California Driver License and proof of auto insurance.
- Punctuality and regular attendance
- Must be able to work weekends, nights, split shifts, and rotating shifts (if needed).
- Ability to drive for 2 hours in a work shift/day, daily.
- Ability to drive, walk, bend, stoop, hear, and speak, daily.
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, under all temperature variations.
- Work environment may be construction sites, commercial buildings, and multi-tenant properties.
- Ascend/Descend and work at heights above 6ft and extreme heights, occasionally
- Move/Transport/Install/Remove items weighing 50 pounds, daily
- Pushing/Pulling using upper extremities, daily
- Position self to work in confined spaces, occasionally
