What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fire Alarm Foreman position at TRL Systems, Inc.?
We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Foreman to lead our on-site team in installing fire and life safety systems in commercial properties.
As the main point of contact for the Project Manager, contractors, and clients, you will be responsible for a project's successful execution, from start to finish. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can manage all aspects of the installation, including:

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all California locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

- Supervising a team of technicians.
- Directing daily project activities and setting team goals.
- Managing project timelines and client expectations.
- Coordinating with third-party contractors.
- Ensuring on-site safety and proper data management.
- Training technicians and handling personnel issues.
- Providing regular project reports to the Project Manager.
Schedule:
- 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Hours may vary.
- Must be able to work weekends, nights, split shifts, and rotating shifts (if needed).
- 5 years installing low voltage fire alarm systems in a commercial environment
- Fire/Life Safety MFG Systems certifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Valid California Driver License and proof of auto insurance.
- Punctuality and regular attendance
- Ability to drive for 2 hours in a work shift/day, daily.
- Ability to drive, walk, bend, stoop, hear, and speak, daily.
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, under all temperature variations.
- Work environment may be construction sites, commercial buildings, and multi-tenant properties.
- Ascend/Descend and work at heights above 6ft and extreme heights, occasionally
- Move/Transport/Install/Remove items weighing 50 pounds, daily
- Pushing/Pulling using upper extremities, daily
- Position self to work in confined spaces, occasionally
