We are excited to announce the opening of our new Facility in Mesa, Arizona in 2026. As part of this expansion in the US, TRL US is seeking qualified Electrical Panel Test Technician to join its team.
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Panel Test Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and validating electrical control panels to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. The ideal candidate has strong electrical knowledge, hands-on experience with control panels, and a commitment to safety and precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional and point-to-point testing of electrical control panels
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
- Verify proper component installation (PLCs, relays, breakers, VFDs, power supplies, etc.)
- Conduct continuity, insulation resistance, and voltage testing
- Troubleshoot wiring and component issues and document findings
- Ensure panels meet UL, NEC, and customer specifications
- Maintain accurate test records, test setups, equipment, and quality documentation
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Must be an advocate of safe workspace, 5S and champion the company's EHS policy
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (Associate degree in Electrical Technology preferred)
- 2 years of experience in electrical panel wiring or testing
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Proficiency using multimeters, megohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PLC systems.
- Familiarity with UL508A standards
- Experience in industrial manufacturing environments
- OSHA safety training
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working around energized equipment
