What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yardperson and Shipping/Receiving position at TRIUS INC.?
We are currently looking for a new shipping and receiving employee to join our team! Looking for a reliable, detailed orientated employee, who is a team player and looking for a company to grow with! An applicant with a background in snow plowing and or mechanical background are encouraged to apply.
Shipping and Receiving Responsibilities:
- Manages the shipment, delivery, and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
- Collaborates and communicates with logistics, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
- Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.
- Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
- Provides additional backup support for parts departments.
- Heavy lifting is required.
- Safe operation of lift equipment.
Work schedule is Mon-Friday. Overtime available especially during the busy season (Winter) with weekends depending on storm needs.
Shipping and Receiving Qualifications/Skills:
- Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Receiving, shipping, stocking and stacking
- Pulling, packing, and loading
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Computer skills
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency
- Able to work independently and within a team
Experience:
- Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)
