Responsibilities
Business Development
- Develop new customers
- Develop new products and packaging solutions
- Participate in development meetings and provide solutions
- Prepare and deliver presentations to customers
- Study and analyze business models
Cost Control
- Prepare sales quotations and manage selling prices
- Manage purchase prices and supplier costs
- Summarize and analyze business performance and conditions
Program Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for meetings
- Prepare materials prior to meetings and report project status to customers
- Identify issues and provide solutions to customer concerns
Scheduling & Order Management
- Develop and manage project timelines
- Issue and manage orders
- Handle internal customer orders and order processes
- Monitor production demand and supply
Quality Management
- Coordinate with the quality team to review quality issues and corrective actions
- Coordinate quality solutions with suppliers
- Serve as the main communication window for quality-related matters
- Act as the audit window and support audit-related activities
General
- Work proactively and support various business needs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Business Travel
- 20–25% travel required (approximately once per month, typically 3–4 days per trip)
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of professional experience. Prior sales experience is not required, but experience in customer communication and relationship management is a must.
- Japanese language: Conversational level or above preferred, but not required
- Industry background: Experience in manufacturing, especially the automotive industry, is highly preferred
- Personal interest: Candidates with a strong interest in cars are highly welcome
Salary : $72,000 - $80,000
