Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable Java-based applications and microservices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, and QA engineers
- Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior developers to uphold coding standards
- Architect and implement RESTful APIs and backend services
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across environments
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline management and DevOps best practices
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
Requirements:
- 5 years of professional experience in Java development
- Strong proficiency with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, or Hibernate
- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Proficiency with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a collaborative team environment
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
