Desktop Support Engineer (Windows 10 → Windows 11 Migration)
Santa Clara, CA — Onsite (5 days/week)
Short-Term Contract | 3-6 Months
Start Date: ASAP
We’re supporting a fast-moving Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration project and looking for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer who can hit the ground running. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in hands-on environments and enjoys working on high-impact IT transformation projects.
What You’ll Do:
Lead Windows 11 imaging, deployment, and upgrades
Support & troubleshoot Dell Latitude hardware
Manage devices via Microsoft Intune (enrollment deployment)
Troubleshoot BitLocker encryption, CrowdStrike EDR, VPN connectivity
Perform user data migrations to new laptops
Use PowerShell scripting to automate tasks
Work closely with the IT End User Services Manager and project team
We’re Looking For:
Strong experience with Windows 10/11 migration
Excellent Intune / Endpoint management experience
Hands-on expertise with Dell Latitude hardware
Troubleshooting skills: BitLocker, CrowdStrike, VPN
Solid PowerShell scripting skills
Available onsite in Santa Clara (Mon–Fri)
Great communication & teamwork attitude
