Training and Process Improvement Specialist
Triumvirate Environmental (BestPLUS) is hiring a Training and Process Improvement Specialist. We offer 3 weeks of vacation within the first year of employment & two weeks of paid, on-the-job training! . Our BestPLUS recycled plastic lumber business is part of a larger strategy to help customers become greener and more sustainable. We’ve developed a proprietary process that converts a variety of waste materials into multiple grades and profiles of plastic lumber for many applications and markets. Our products and solutions have been well-received by the market. We are looking for a high energy sales pro to help us reach more customers and geographies.

Essential responsibilities and duties include:
- Adhere to all Triumvirate safety policies and practices
- Work with key Triumvirate leaders to continuously improve, build and maintain our employee training initiatives.
- Provide on-the-job training for operations across all of our job tasks in coordination with managers and leadership.
- Provide classroom education for new hires, annual training and spot training for the plant.
- Develop and modify current training, SOP’s, SWF’s and OJT courses
- Set standards of retraining and new training roll outs for all departments
- Audit training effectiveness and adjust accordingly based on objectives and well-defined key results.
- Coordination of in-doc training of all new employees.
- Develop training and OJT for front line supervisors and operators.
- Tracking of trainings through spread sheets, employee files or electronic database
- Process improvements through training, equipment adjustments & goal setting
- Support of process goals through data collection, testing, and setting standards
- Provide frequent status updates to management on assigned projects
- Assist all supervisors and management in training needs
- Establish training regimen for all shifts includes weekend, off hours and holidays
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum 3 years Extrusion Experience
- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Project management
- Performs role with minimal supervision
- Multi-tasking
- Cognitive reasoning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous plastics and extrusion experience
- Associates degree in a related technical field from an accredited institution
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools or equivalent
