Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional, loving care to infants in a safe and engaging classroom.
- Create and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members.
- Follow daily routines including feeding, diapering, napping, and developmental play.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom that meets all licensing requirements.
- Complete daily communication with families regarding their child's care and development.
- Work collaboratively with administration and fellow teachers to create a positive learning environment.
Qualifications
- FLORIDA CHILD CARE PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE (FCCPC) REQUIRED
- Experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Strong understanding of infant development and best practices in early childhood education.
- Reliable, patient, caring, and a positive team player.
- Must pass all required background screenings.
