Apply now and one of our dedicated Managers will reach out to you.Positions Available:Part-Time/TemporaryDuties/Responsibilities:Greet/Assist guests - be proactive and friendly; provide information and directionHave an understanding of the venue layout and featuresManage Line/Crowd Control - verify entry of guests through tickets, badges or wristbands, direct traffic in and out of venueScreen guests during entry including bag checks, walk-thru, hand wand, and visualObserve and ReportDemonstrate and enforce company and venue policiesRoaming and Patrolling - clearing aisle and assisting with crowd control issuesField Intrusion/Barricade - create a secure area between the crowd and the eventPatrols and monitors an assigned area; reports suspicious activities to local authorities.Monitors surveillance cameras, inspects property, and monitors crowds.Contacts law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency.After business hours, checks doors, windows, and gates to ensure the property is secure.Reasonably detains persons suspected of criminal activity until law enforcement arrives.Escorts discharged staff, trespassers, and other unwelcome parties off the premises.*These duties are minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned*Requirements: MUST HAVE A VALID GUARD CARD TO APPLYExcellent observational skills and attention to detail.Authoritative verbal communication skills.Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.Ability to learn the layout of the property and buildings.Flexible schedule required, most shifts require weekend availabilityCustomer Service OrientedReliable transportationAbility to use sound judgement and tact in difficult situationsMust be able to stand for an extended period of time.Have reliable transportationEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required.Security guard training certification required. Previous experience a plus, but not required.Physical Requirements: With or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions.
