This is a critical succession-planning hire with a clearly defined and near-term path to Director-level leadership. The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of public accounting audit experience and corporate accounting management within a large, complex organization. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee corporate accounting operations, including general ledger management and month-end/quarter-end/year-end close processesManage and review consolidated financial statements in a multi-entity environmentEnsure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policiesOversee balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting accuracyPartner with internal stakeholders across finance, tax, FP&A, and internal auditSupport external audit activities and serve as a primary point of contact with auditorsIdentify opportunities to enhance accounting processes, controls, and efficienciesMentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a strong culture of accountability and technical excellence Qualifications & ExperienceActive CPA license (required)Audit experience with a national or large public accounting firmPrior accounting management experience within a large corporationStrong general ledger and consolidations experience in a multi-company environment (preferred)Demonstrated career stability; no contract or temporary rolesProven leadership capabilities with readiness for advancement to Director Leadership OpportunityThis role is designed for a high-performing accounting professional who is ready to step into a visible leadership position with meaningful influence.
