About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our Construction Services team. This individual will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and driving revenue growth by promoting our innovative modular construction solutions. The ideal candidate has strong industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, a strong network in their assigned region, and a proven track record in construction sales or business development.
Core Functions and Responsibilities:
· Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify, research, and qualify potential clients across various market segments (education, healthcare, commercial, industrial, etc.).
· Client Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with architects, developers, general contractors, and end-users to promote modular construction solutions.
· Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
· Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to identify new opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
· Proposal Development: Collaborate with the estimating, design, and project teams to prepare proposals, presentations, and pricing strategies.
· CRM Management: Maintain detailed records of client interactions, opportunities, and sales progress using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
· Trade Shows & Events: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and generate leads.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and project management teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Requirements and Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field
· 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles (preferably in construction, real estate, or modular industries)
· Strong understanding of the construction lifecycle and modular building processes
· Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
· Comfortable conducting meetings via MS Teams, Zooms, and similar platforms
· Self-starter with a strategic mindset and strong organizational skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms
· Willingness to travel as needed

Pay: $50,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
