SUMMARY:
The IT Infrastructure Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and reliability of on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure systems. This position ensures the stability of server, network, storage, and Microsoft 365 environments, and serves as a key technical resource for infrastructure projects, escalations, and day-to-day operations support

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Administer and maintain on-premises infrastructure including servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and network infrastructure.
- Oversee network infrastructure including core/edge switches, firewalls, VPN and routing configurations.
- Plan, manage and deploy Windows and Linux servers, Domain Controller, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, M365 and related Microsoft services.
- Perform system monitoring, capacity planning, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related incidents and outages in a timely manner.
- Document infrastructure architecture, configurations, procedures, and changes.
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers for hardware, software, and support services.
- Participate in infrastructure projects, migrations, and technology upgrades.
- Support and mentor IT support staff and assist with escalated technical issues.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience in systems and network administration. Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization platforms, and Microsoft 365 required. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, vendors, and end users both verbally and in writing.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to apply mathematical applications to practical situations including capacity planning and performance analysis.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to analyze infrastructure problems before they cause system downtime, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to deliver outstanding customer service, and demonstrate professionalism while maintaining composure in stressful situations. Must be detail oriented with a strong work ethic focused on providing a positive customer experience. Ability to work an on-call schedule during non-business hours, including evening and weekend support as needed.
