Our Inside Fabricator Sales/Tool Control Professional will assist fabricators and customers with the selection, application, and purchase of a wide variety of granite supplies, tools, and sinks.
Responsibilities:
Inventory Control
- Complete weekly slab and non-slab cycle counts
- Maintain bin accuracy with daily warehouse audits
- Drive compliance for natural stone slab images in ERP
Receiving & Purchasing Support
- Receive/check in all LTL and parcel shipments
- Report shortages or damage to purchasing and internal teams
- Manage communication on special-order arrivals and customer pickup readiness
Transfers & Warehouse Support
- Pull, pack, and ship branch transfer requests
- Prepare daily customer pickup orders for trade customers
- Support the warehouse manager with daily operational priorities
Customer Service & Sales Support
- Primary contact for fabricator curbside pickups
- Partner with the front desk team to ensure a positive customer experience
- Answer phones as needed
- Assist sales/account managers with photos and operational requests
Required Skills/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of Retail Experience, preferred in the stone industry
- Solid math, verbal, and written communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Must be well organized and self-motivated
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to move quickly to pull orders and wait on customers
- Must be able to stand & walk for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical demands of this job.
- Must be able to unload freight and stock shelves
- Ability to use hands to type on the keyboard for customer orders and to look up inventory
- Must be able to answer the telephone and take customer orders
