What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quartz Slab Planner position at Triton Stone Group?
Summary:
The Quartz Slab Planner will run weekly forecasts, place or move POs, and communicate status updates and approvals with suppliers for all 3 of Triton’s ports: Houston, New Orleans, and Norfolk.
Primary Duties
· Pull and format forecasting report from Domo.
· Pull Open PO report from Stone Profits to quickly view each PO’s status for quick decision-making.
· Create new POs and manage the existing ones.
· Enter new SKUs and/or samples.
· Enter stocking pipeline, sales average, safety stock, transit time into Forecasting Calculators to determine the Required Ship Date for next POs.
· Work with Supply Chain for updated transit times.
· Work with the Crescent Quartz Product Manager to ensure slab colors, cost, sizes, preferred suppliers, etc.
· Meet weekly or as needed with the Director of Purchasing to review forecast.
· Meet monthly with RVPs and Crescent Quartz Product Manager to assess overall forecasting needs.
· Work with suppliers to ensure we receive proper documents, i.e., BOL, ISF, supplier invoice and packing list.
· Email suppliers in advance estimated/forecasted number of slabs/containers needed monthly for production purposes.
PO status follow up:
· Follow up with suppliers on the status of each PO, i.e., production status, shipping date, any issues we need to be aware of.
· Help connect suppliers with freight options, either on our contract or with approved freight forwarders.
Other duties as follows:
· Crescent Quartz projects or Cut to Size POs.
· Any PO that is related to a Quartz product or one of our Quartz suppliers.
Salary : $18 - $20
