What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cafeteria Worker (Substitute - Elementary Schools) position at Triton Regional School District?
Very flexible hiring manager! We are looking for Cafeteria Workers to serve the students nutritious meals in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness, and friendliness!
1. Assist in the preparation and serving of food in a quick and pleasant manner
2. Serve students and staff from the cafeteria counter
3. Assume responsibility for seeing that during meal service periods, the supply of food offered is replenished regularly
4. Remove used dishes and assist in the cleaning of counters, tables, and furnishings in the dining area
5. Assist in the daily clean up of the kitchen and service areas
6. Perform major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and storerooms at regularly scheduled intervals as designated by the cafeteria
manager
7. Assume responsibility for storage and disposal of unused foods
8. Perform related duties as required including duties at special meal functions
9. Assume the responsibility for the collection of fees charged the students and staff for meals served
10.Perform such other tasks as may from time to time be assigned by the Principal
