Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Collections Representative located in Hialeah, FL. The Collections Representative will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding company debt, communicating with clients to resolve financial discrepancies, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely cash collection. The role includes daily interactions with finance teams to manage accounts receivable and maintain accurate financial records.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Negotiates payment of all current and past due accounts by direct telephone and written correspondence.
· Initiates correspondence regarding delinquency status; account information via phone and or email.
· Makes an average of 50-80 calls per day.
· Builds and solidifies relationships with clients.
· Identifies and monitors potential problem accounts.
· Utilizes collection techniques to resolve accounts according to company’s policies and procedures.
· Researches, resolves, corrects, and prevents invoice discrepancies by active interaction with customers, sales, and other appropriate staff/departments.
· Performs detailed account reconciliations as needed to resolve complex disputed receivable issues.
· Communicates status of account problems on a regular basis.
· Prepares monthly client account analysis summaries.
· Recommends collection strategies and/or efforts.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent, one to two years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
· MUST BE Proficient in Quickbooks and Microsoft (Outlook, Word and Excel).
· Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.

· Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.
· Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
