Summary

As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties. This position is essential to our mission of providing top-tier security solutions throughout Northern California.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and inspect buildings and access points for any suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
• Provide assistance to clients and the public by offering information or directing them as needed.
• Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, or unusual occurrences.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Conduct regular checks on security systems such as CCTV to ensure operational efficiency.
• Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate potential issues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in law enforcement or security-related roles.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Valid security officer certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems including CCTV is essential.
• Experience in loss prevention techniques is highly desirable.
• Basic first aid and CPR certification is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
