Summary: Feld tech 1 will perform various duties pertaining to the installation and general maintenance of cable and fiber networks. Field tech 1 shall be familiar with all power tools and equipment related to job . Have ability to work in various conditions both inside and outside. Have a solid understanding of general construction and be able to communicate well both written and verbally Typical scopes of work: New construction wiring Wiring of fiber feeds into commercial businesses Proofing and placing cables in underground conduits Responsibility: Ability to read and understand plans related to the project 2 Capable of proper safe use of power and hand tools Capable of handling up to 28' extension ladder independently Capable of safely driving a full size 1 ton truck with small trailer Capable of determining best routes and pathways to install cables Must be able to lift 80 lbs Must be able to take clear direction and work well with others Experience and education High school diploma and 2 years general construction experience preferred Pay Range: $23 - $28 per hour
