Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Financial Advisor role based in Chicago, IL. The Financial Advisor will meet with clients to assess their current financial situation, goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon, and develop tailored financial plans. Responsibilities include recommending investment, retirement, insurance, tax-efficient, and estate planning strategies aligned with clients’ objectives and employer benefits. The role involves regularly reviewing and adjusting financial plans, monitoring market conditions, and communicating updates and recommendations to clients. The Financial Advisor will also be responsible for maintaining accurate client records, adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements, and collaborating with internal team members to deliver a high level of service. Building and growing a client base through networking, referrals, and community engagement is an important part of this position.
Qualifications
- Strong financial planning skills, including retirement planning, investment strategy, and risk management.
- Ability to analyze client cash flow, budgeting, and debt management to create comprehensive financial roadmaps.
- Knowledge of tax-efficient strategies, insurance solutions, and estate planning concepts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to explain complex financial topics clearly.
- Proficiency in using financial planning software, CRM tools, and standard office applications.
- High ethical standards, sound judgment, and a client-centric mindset focused on long-term relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; advanced coursework or certifications is a plus.

- Prior experience in financial advising, wealth management, or a related client-facing financial role preferred.
