Job Summary And Qualifications
The EEG Technician is specially trained to perform EEG’s for the diagnosis and treatment of Neurology disorders. Trained in the use of specialized equipment to record, monitor and analyze various physiological parameters in EEG including recognition and appropriate response to critical events such as cardiac arrhythmias, seizure disorders and other medical emergencies. Performs direct patient care with ability to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, as well as provide patient education for the Neurology patient. This Technician also supports the Sleep Center in functions that are necessary for the scheduling, confirming, and planning events that are needed.

What qualifications you will need:
- High School Graduate / GED required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor, or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Previous EEG or Polysomnography experience required
