The Director of Physical Therapy ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit(s)/department(s) in addition to forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring. The Director fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration and supports the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives.

Job Summary And Qualifications
The Director of Physical Therapy ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit(s)/department(s) in addition to forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring. The Director fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration and supports the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives.
What you will do in this role:
- Responsible for directing all aspects of Physical Medicine (PT, OT, Speech): staffing, management, education, budget
- Evaluate patient and establish plan of care.
- Document all essential information regarding patient.
- Ensure appropriate care by reviewing plan of care and adjusting accordingly
- Supervise patient care assigned to Rehab Services.
- Provide clinical education development to all staff
- Additional administrative responsibilities as assigned.
- Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Therapist required.
- 3-5 years of related experience required.
- Current BLS certification required.
