Job Summary And Qualifications
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients
appropriate to the ages of patients served.
Functions as First Assistant and scrub person on a wide variety of operative procedures.
Assists in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing technical duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma/GED preferred
3 Years Experience As First Assistant Preferred
Current Certified First Assistant license
BLS required at hire

- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- (SA) Surgical Assistant must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

- (CSFA) Certified Surgical First Assistant, or (CSA) Certified Surgical Assistant, or (SA-C) Surgical Assistant Certified
