Medical Surgical is the field for you if you are most passionate about developing comprehensive, holistic medical judgement in your patients. You will care for patients with moderate-acuity who are facing a wide range of conditions, often multiple at the same time – such as cardiac disease with kidney failure. This simultaneous diversity allows you to evaluate your patients’ complete medical picture when making critical decisions, deepen your understanding of various medical conditions and treatments, recognize key symptoms and their implications, comprehend medication interactions, and determine when you should intervene. • Coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the Medical Surgical department
• In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, you will provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.”
• You will serve as an advocate for patients, families and caregivers and share in our organizational commitment to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes
  
  

What qualifications you will need:

• Authorization to Test - NCLEX-RN
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• NCLEX Examination Appointment Confirmation
• (RN) Registered Nurse must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
