The Laboratory Supervisor oversees technical and/or non-technical laboratory personnel and daily operations in assigned areas/shifts to achieve organization and regulatory requirements.

Job Summary And Qualifications
The Laboratory Supervisor oversees technical and/or non-technical laboratory personnel and daily operations in assigned areas/shifts to achieve organization and regulatory requirements.
What you will do in this role:
- Your role supervises personnel, processes, service levels, regulatory compliance, and service levels in assigned areas.
- Functional areas of responsibility for your role may include, but are not limited to technical discipline areas in which department is licensed, specimen collection, specimen processing and specimen referral testing.
- You will perform technical and non-technical duties in assigned areas of responsibility as required.
- You will be responsible for achieving department goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, personnel management, patient satisfaction, healthy work environment, and integration of intra and inter-departmental activities in areas of responsibility.
- Current State of Tennessee Medical Laboratory Supervisor General License required.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience as Medical Technologist
- Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with all co-workers, staff, patients, patient families and vendors
- Proficient computer skills, i.e. ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and other programs for creating reports
- Medi-tech experience preferred
