Clinical Nurse Coordinator Role
This leadership role requires a skilled and compassionate nurse who can direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures. The Clinical Nurse Coordinator will serve as a resource person for staff, model a commitment to the organization's vision and mission, and support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with admissions and discharges to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care
* Participate in ongoing assessments of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit
* Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service
* Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary
* Support efforts to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies
* Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff
* Recommend and implement courses of action to ensure a competitively better organization
* Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines
* Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment start date
* Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment start date
* Registered Nurse licensure required
* Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
