Location: Central Islip ,NY

Shifts Available: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift

Pay Range: $22.50/hr shift differential & benefits

Employment Type: Full-Time

About The Role

We are seeking Manufacturing Operators to join our team in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This is a multifunctional role where you will operate production machinery, execute batch processes, and support manufacturing operations in compliance with cGMP and SOP requirements.

Operators may be assigned to different areas such as Granulation, Compression, Coating, Encapsulation, or Glatt FBD depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate pharmaceutical production machinery and equipment.
• Execute batch processes as per Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR) and SOP requirements.
• Perform machine changeovers, cleaning, and set-up within defined timelines.
• Conduct in-process checks, sampling, and documentation to ensure compliance.
• Assist with preventive maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and compliance standards at all times.
• Collaborate with QA, QC, Engineering, and Packaging teams for smooth operations.
• Wear appropriate PPE and follow all safety protocols.
• Complete accurate, timely documentation for all production activities.
• Support training and cross-training initiatives within the team.
  
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (college/technical certificate preferred).
• 0–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing (Oral Solid Dosage experience preferred).
• Understanding of granulation, compression, coating, encapsulation, or FBD equipment.
• Basic knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Strong documentation, organizational, and troubleshooting skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs, stand/walk for long hours, and move equipment with pallet jacks.
• Comfortable working with powders containing active pharmaceutical ingredients.

Work Schedule

• Multiple shifts available (1st, 2nd, and 3rd).
• Schedule may vary (Mon–Fri, Tue–Sat, or other combinations based on business needs).
