Job Title: Solder Assembler (SMT / Through-Hole)

Company: Lockheed Martin

Location: Clearwater

Duration: 12-month contract (extension possible)

Shift Options

  • 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM Pay Rate: $18–$27/hr (depending on shift & experience) Eligibility: U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder

We are hiring skilled Solder Assemblers with strong experience in SMT (Surface Mount Technology) and/or through-hole soldering for aerospace electronics manufacturing. The role involves precision soldering, inspection, rework, and quality assurance of PCB assemblies in a high-reliability environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with:
    • SMT soldering (required for both roles)
    • Through-hole soldering (required for 2nd role)
  • Strong knowledge of solder defect identification & repair
  • Familiarity with IPC / J-STD standards (certification preferred)
  • Experience with:
    • AOI (preferred)
    • X-ray inspection (for advanced role)
  • Ability to read technical drawings and assembly instructions
  • High attention to detail and quality
