Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Microelectronics Assembler to join a leading technology company in Chelmsford, MA. The ideal candidate will have experience assembling electronic components, working under microscopes, following detailed work instructions, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and finished products following work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
• Read and interpret assembly instructions, engineering drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
• Perform precision assembly of small and microelectronic components using microscopes and magnification equipment.
• Use hand tools such as tweezers, cutters, rulers, torque drivers, and screwdrivers.
• Utilize measuring instruments and electronic test equipment to verify product quality.
• Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures and quality standards during assembly.
• Record accurate production data and complete required documentation.
• Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to improve quality and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in electronics assembly, microelectronics assembly, PCB assembly, or precision manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Comfortable working with very small components using microscopes or magnification equipment.
• Basic computer skills for work instructions, production tracking, and timekeeping.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attendance, reliability, and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electrical or microelectronics assembly.
• Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures.
• Familiarity with electronic test equipment.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 standards (or willingness to learn).
• Experience with PCB, SMT, or soldering is a plus.
