Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Platform DevOps Engineer to support a growing Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform. This is an operational engineering role embedded within the development team, focused on building automation and deployment tooling rather than manual server configuration or direct code deployments.
This role is ideal for engineers who treat infrastructure as a product and are passionate about improving automation, resiliency, observability, and developer enablement across environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain tools to automate server configuration and application deployment processes
- Develop scalable automation solutions for infrastructure provisioning and operational support
- Improve platform resiliency, automation services, and infrastructure efficiency
- Monitor, instrument, and optimize systems for performance and reliability
- Provide deployment and operational tooling to developers and support teams
- Support and follow change control processes across Production, QA, and Development environments
- Maintain clear documentation for automated processes and operational procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system stability and efficiency
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 10 years of experience in software development, DevOps, infrastructure, or related roles
- 5 years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience
- 2 years of scripting experience (Python, Perl, or similar)
- 2 years of experience with automation tools (Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, or similar)
- 3 years of experience with Git or other version control systems
- 5 years of Windows Server administration experience
- Strong Linux administration experience (Red Hat, CentOS, etc.)
- 3 years of experience with Nginx or similar web technologies
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- 5 years of experience in T-SQL and Oracle SQL
- 5 years of experience with web servers (IIS and/or Apache)
Salary : $60 - $70
