About the Role

Our client is hiring a Plant Controller to lead finance for a $400M manufacturing site. This role partners closely with the Plant Manager and site leadership to improve performance by bringing clarity to cost drivers, operational performance, and financial tradeoffs.

You will translate plant activity into clear financial insight and help leadership make better operational decisions. This is a hands-on role with strong visibility and real influence on how the site performs.

What You’ll Own

• Lead the annual operating plan and manage the full plant budgeting and forecasting cycle
• Run monthly operating reviews analyzing labor, material, and overhead performance and drive follow up actions
• Build cost models for new products so leadership understands margin impact before launch
• Own inventory accuracy and strengthen processes around transaction control and variance analysis
• Partner with department leaders to address gaps in spending efficiency and productivity
• Lead, develop, and elevate a small plant finance team, supporting their growth and progression

What We’d Like

• Background in accounting or finance with experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of cost accounting standard costing and plant level financial drivers
• Proven ability to lead a team and influence cross-functional partners
• Ability to analyze performance identify root causes and drive decisions
• Focus on improving processes and identifying opportunities to increase efficiency
