SECOND SHIFT
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor various machines
- Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety standards in production environments.
- Assist with materials handling, tooling setup, packaging finished products, and assembly as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets while ensuring quality control throughout the manufacturing process.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating industrial machines relating to filling, capping, sleeving, packing or other similar industrial equipment in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret specifications and technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with center lining or pass lining equipment before start up.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges for dimensional inspection.
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and the ability to follow safety protocols diligently.
- Basic shop math skills necessary industrial manufacturing.
- Experience with factory or manufacturing facility operations including materials handling, tooling setup, packaging, and assembly line processes.
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment issues efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control and precision measurement techniques.
