Machine Operator - Second Shift

Job Summary

SECOND SHIFT

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial machinery to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. Your expertise will help ensure that production runs smoothly, adhering to safety standards and quality specifications. Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor various machines
• Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety standards in production environments.
• Assist with materials handling, tooling setup, packaging finished products, and assembly as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets while ensuring quality control throughout the manufacturing process.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating industrial machines relating to filling, capping, sleeving, packing or other similar industrial equipment in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret specifications and technical drawings accurately.
• Familiarity with center lining or pass lining equipment before start up.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges for dimensional inspection.
• Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and the ability to follow safety protocols diligently.
• Basic shop math skills necessary industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with factory or manufacturing facility operations including materials handling, tooling setup, packaging, and assembly line processes.
• Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment issues efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control and precision measurement techniques.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
