Inside Sales Representative – Merchant Services & Capital Lending

Compensation: $40,000–$45,000 base (hourly to start) plus commission

Tripoli Advisors is a fintech advisory and merchant finance firm specializing in payment processing optimization, POS technology, equipment leasing, and capital lending solutions for small and mid-sized businesses nationwide.
We are launching a new in-office sales operation in Scottsdale, AZ to support our expanding merchant services and capital platform. This is a deliberate build with structure, leadership, and long-term growth in mind.
The role:
We are hiring a professional, phone-based inside sales representative to join our foundational Scottsdale office team.
This role starts as an hourly position and transitions to a salary plus benefits and commission structure after approximately six months, based on consistent performance and KPI achievement.
For the right candidate, there is a clear path to senior sales or sales management, with the opportunity to lead and mentor two to three reps within 120–180 days.
Key responsibilities:
- Outbound and inbound calls with small and mid-sized business owners
- Discovery, qualification, and needs assessment
- Selling merchant services, payment processing, POS systems, equipment leasing, subscription programs, and capital lending solutions
- Collecting and reviewing merchant processing statements
- Managing pipeline activity, follow-ups, and deal stages in CRM
- Using Excel for deal tracking, reporting, and basic analysis
- Working closely with sales leadership on pricing, structure, and deal strategy
Performance expectations:
- Average 70–80 outbound dials per day
- Consistent daily talk time and follow-up activity
- Real-time CRM updates
- Quality conversations and statement collection prioritized over raw volume
Required experience and skills:
- Proven phone-based inside sales experience
- CRM experience required
- Excel proficiency required (basic to intermediate)
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
- Comfortable working in a performance-driven, accountable environment
Preferred experience:
- Merchant services or payment processing experience
- Capital lending or alternative finance experience
- Prior leadership, mentoring, or team-lead exposure
Growth and advancement:
