This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Manager, based in New Orleans, LA. The Business Development Manager will identify, cultivate, and maintain client relationships, develop and implement sales strategies, and meet or exceed revenue goals. They will also engage in market analysis, lead negotiations, and prepare detailed proposals and presentations. Additionally, they will collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management
- Strong skills in client relationship management, negotiation, and communication
- Knowledge of technical products such as hoses, gaskets, valves, and industrial piping systems
- Ability to perform market research, competitive analysis, and strategic planning
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client visits and industry events
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in the industrial or chemical supply industry is a plus
