What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Campground Maintenance Worker position at TripleBrook RV & Camping Resort?
We’re hiring a reliable, hardworking part-time maintenance worker to help keep our seasonal campground safe, clean, and welcoming for guests. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys outdoor work, has basic maintenance skills, and can work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine groundskeeping: mowing, trimming, leaf/brush removal
- Maintain campsites, fire pits, tables, signs, and common amenities
- Perform basic repairs: replace boards, fix fencing, minor plumbing and electrical tasks, paint as needed
- Operate and maintain hand and small power tools, lawnmower, weed trimmer, leaf blower
- Monitor and report larger maintenance or safety issues to supervisor
- Help set up/take down seasonal equipment and prepare sites for opening/closing
- Weekend shifts during peak season; respond to urgent issues when required
Qualifications
- Previous groundskeeping, maintenance, or campground experience preferred but not required
- Basic carpentry, plumbing, or electrical skills a plus
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Good communication skills, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays during peak season
