Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Janitorial professional to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities. Duties
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal
- Conduct specialized floor care tasks such as buffing and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Clean restrooms, kitchens, and common areas ensuring compliance with health standards
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
- Assist with custodial maintenance tasks including minor repairs and facility upkeep
- Follow established safety procedures and protocols during all cleaning activities
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Support additional facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including light painting or minor repairs
Experience
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred, especially in commercial or industrial environments
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing and polishing is a plus
- Experience with residential painting or facilities maintenance is advantageous but not required
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals used in industrial cleaning or commercial cleaning settings
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning of all designated areas
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week
