Duties
- Carefully pack household or commercial items using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit
- Load and unload trucks safely using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary
- Assist with moving furniture and boxes, ensuring heavy lifting is done safely with proper technique
- Operate commercial vehicles like box trucks or drivers’ trucks for route driving and delivery tasks
- Maintain organization of items during packing and loading to streamline the moving process
- Ensure all items are secured properly for transport, adhering to safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about the moving process and addressing any concerns
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with moving operations preferred
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual transmission vehicles is a plus
- Delivery driver experience or route driving background highly valued
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and work in physically demanding environments
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to load & unload activities and driving regulations
- Customer service skills to interact professionally with clients during moves
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving or courier experience preferred

Pay: $21.00 - $22.50 per hour
