Duties
- Assist with assembly line operations by loading, unloading, and organizing materials and components
- Operate forklifts and power tools safely to move heavy items within the manufacturing facility
- Support the setup and breakdown of manufacturing equipment using hand tools and mechanical knowledge
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and factory floor to promote safety and efficiency
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and tools to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while adhering to quality standards
Skills
- Experience operating forklifts and power tools in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs or adjustments on equipment
- Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience preferred
- Familiarity with assembly line processes and hand tool usage
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures diligently
- Good physical stamina for lifting, standing, walking, and performing manual tasks for extended periods
- Effective communication skills to work seamlessly within a team environment
