Overview
We are looking for a reliable and self-sufficient Equipment Operator to join our team. This role involves operating a variety of heavy equipment, including excavators and skid steers, on a wide range of projects. If you enjoy working outdoors, can work independently and with others, and are willing to learn, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators and skids steers
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety standards are met and maintenance needs are identified
- Follow all safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and team members
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate daily operations
- Maintain logs of equipment usage
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Valid State of Idaho drivers license
- Strong work ethic, flexible, and reliable
- Ability to handle long hours of operation in various weather conditions
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Valid commercial driver’s license with experience driving heavy-duty vehicles including dump trucks
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and perform basic maintenance on equipment
Potential raise after 90 days full time
Retirement match up to 3%
