Full job description:
- We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
Job duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar for special events as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, communicating needs to management when necessary.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations while serving food and beverages.
Skills:
- Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
- Experience with “Toast” or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and food service practices is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- TABC certification
- Food handlers certification
- 1 year bar experience
Shift:
- 8 hour shift
- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
