A Branson based tourism company is seeking a Sales & Marketing Manager to join our team located in Branson, Missouri.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
This position will be part of our leadership team which supports the company by helping build relationships, delivering exceptional service, seeking new sales opportunities, closing sales and also supporting a variety of operational and marketing functions within the company.
This is a full time, year-round position.
The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for implementation of business action plans, which could include business development, marketing, content development, and selling a variety of different products and services. This person must be multi-talented. We are looking for an ambitious, energetic individual to help drive our company to the next level.
This person will be responsible for the following activities:
- Working with owners to implement marketing strategies that drive incremental revenue.
- Develop sales strategies and the implementation of those strategies to drive revenue from a variety of sources.
- Developing email strategies and the implementation of those strategies that help support and target various audiences.
- Creating applicable content for websites.
- Developing social media strategies and the implementation of those strategies.
- Being able to see opportunities and then capitalizing on them.
- Developing long term relationships with clients and vendors.
- Oversee customer service staff.
- Negotiate contracts.
The right person will have the following skill set:
- Experience in marketing, sales and business development.
- Must have a passion for sales in a professional honest manner.
- Expertise in digital marketing, social media strategy and campaign management.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Strong organizational, time management and problem solving skills
- Must be friendly/hospitable. Love people.
- Must be able to work in a smoke free environment.
- Must be professional and look the part.
- Willing to work more then 40 hours per week.
- Must work on site in Branson.
- Must have negotiation skills to create win-win.
- Must be able analyze data and make changes based on the data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Mac/PC environments.
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be reliable, deadline and detail oriented. An eye for detail is a must.
- Past customer service, sales, marketing or project management experience would be very helpful.
- Ethical.
- Must be tech savvy, understand operational processes as it related to technology and make recommendations for improvement.
- Any AI skills, graphic design skills, digital marketing skills would be a plus.
Education:
Would prefer a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Marketing, Business or similar degree but willing to look at experience.
