About the Role
As the on-site Clinical Psychologist, you will serve as the primary behavioral health expert within a Skilled Nursing Facility. Your scope includes psychotherapy, behavioral interventions, differential diagnosis, and psychological assessments to support accurate care planning and treatment coordination.
You will have the ability to shape behavioral health outcomes for residents while collaborating closely with facility leadership, families, and medical providers.

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Salary: $80,000–$100,000 based on experience

Key Responsibilities
Conduct diagnostic psychological evaluations and ongoing psychotherapy
Provide evidence-based behavioral and cognitive interventions
Manage your caseload with a minimum of 5 billable clinical hours/day
Advise the care team on cognitive, psychological, and behavioral presentation
Ensure compliance with CMS, Medicare, and insurers for documentation standards
Serve as a thought leader within the facility — supporting integrated, whole-person care
Qualifications
Active Illinois Clinical Psychologist license (PsyD or PhD required)
Prior experience with geriatric or medically complex populations is ideal, but not required
Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing models is a plus (training provided)
Strong interpersonal, communication, and consultative skills
NPI number (we can assist with obtaining if needed)
