What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at Trinus Corporation?
Role: Variable Products Accountant I
Location: Newport Beach CA
Duration: 06 Months (Potential for C2H)
Candidate will be responsible for the review of shareholder reports (including financial statements, notes to financial statements, Schedules of Investments, Fair Value Measurements, Derivatives and other schedules for financial reporting), on quarterly basis.
Additionally, candidate will assist with Transfer Agency functions (including fundshare activity wires and outstanding share reconciliations), approval of Fund of Funds trade tickets, and updating daily unit prices for mutual funds and separate accounts.
The candidate will also be responsible for audit confirmation reconciliation.
Requirements:
This will be entry level position
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, especially during quarterly financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong PC (Excel, Word and Access) skills.
- Knowledge of accounting and reporting for investments preferred.
- Research and problem solving skills.
