Employment Type: Part time Shift: Evening Shift Description: Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist (Part Time) Location: Holy Cross Hospital Schedule: Evening, 10hr shifts Department: Medical Imaging Position Purpose Holy Cross Health is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist to join our Medical Imaging team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic sonographic images while ensuring professional, patient-centered care in alignment with our mission. You will collaborate closely with Radiologists and other team members to support accurate diagnoses and positive patient outcomes. What You Will Do Perform high-quality sonograms and assist Radiologists in select procedures Apply precise scanning techniques and maintain proper technical settings Ensure proper care and safety of patients throughout imaging procedures Monitor equipment functionality and adhere to sterile technique standards Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to infection control protocols Identify patient care needs and use appropriate equipment and interventions for populations including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics Maintain effective working relationships and support Holy Cross Health’s mission, philosophy, and policies Minimum Qualifications ARDMS Certification – Required Graduate of an accredited Ultrasonography Program CPR Certification (American Heart Association) Minimum 1 year of experience in ultrasonography preferred (including OB/GYN, abdominal, small parts, Doppler; vascular experience a plus) Strong communication skills; ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English Position Highlights Be part of a mission-driven, patient-centered health system Work with a collaborative and supportive imaging team Utilize advanced imaging technology in a high-acuity hospital setting Make a real impact in the lives of diverse patient populations Benefits: Retention Bonus eligible (must have 1 year of prior experience in this unit) Comprehensive benefit packages available, including medical, dental, vision, mental health, paid time off, 403B, education assistance and voluntary benefits (pet insurance, accident insurance, hospital indemnity and others) available from first day of employment. Pay rate: $35.71 - $53.12 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
